Did you know that Grandma (great grandma or even greatgreat grandma)Daphne Jemmett was a Radio talk show host? While they lived in the old rock house in Blackfoot, she had a radio show every Monday morning at 10:30. It was called "Round Up of Idaho Scibes and Scribblers." She interviewed and read works of Idaho writers. I found a newspaper article dated Jan 5, 1953 that talked about her show. She also had a regular newspaper column and took pictures with her big old camera for the newspapers. What a cultural icon. What other things did she do? Do you remember anything else?
