About 2 months ago Allie broke her arm doing a cartwheel at Gma JoAnne’s just 15 minutes after returning from a trip to Rexburg. It was an AWFUL break above her right elbow and required surgery and two pins. She had 3 different casts (blue, pink, and then yellow) during the first few weeks of kindergarten. She is now plaster free and we are working on strengthening her arm.
Within a few days of Allie’s surgery, I ended up in the hospital for a week due to a nasty uterine infection. The ER and hospital love us, especially the billing department. The silver lining is that we had to switch Jessica to formula when my body shut down. Within 5 days she plumped up, stopped fussing endlessly, and is sleeping so much better. Yeah!
We are all on the mend and getting used to our new schedules: Allie in kindergarten, Kylie in preschool, & Mommy back to work.
