On the Sunday before Christmas Maren, Ellen and I took our violins up to Grandpa Jemmett's new 'apartment' and played a little christmas concert for some of the residents. We had a great time, they were very complimentary, well except for the woman who snored the whole time:) Maybe we were just exceptionally soothing. Somehow we also ended up giving an impromtu vocal performance as well, with Dad joining in. It was a great way to get in the spirit of the season and see Grandpa too. It's great to have him closer now.
