First of all, Thanks to everyone who posts (i'm wallowing in my own guilt). This is a great way to do family history because we can easily copy/paste all these posts and pics into our own little books of rememberance. That said I need some help please. I have a project that may take my whole life to finish (which is okay because I'm hoping it's one of those things that will get passed on and on and treasured forever). I need family history stories from the Jemmett side of my family. I'm looking for pictures of the 4 generations (I've got Grandpa Jemmett's already and boy does Ben look exactly like him or what?!!!). In addition I need some stories of prominent people in our history (Geoffrey Chaucer is one). Pioneer stories would be great; pretty much anything I can put in a scrapbook and hopefully find pictures to put with the names and stories. I'm really looking forward to doing this now that school is over and I have free time (with 2 toddling children) and would greatly appreciate any help you can give (as I don't know much of anything about the Jemmett side.) Thanks for the help.
Love, Shera

You need to get in touch with Martha. She has lots of info & stories. She has photos too.
In fact I just got a book on a CD about the Jemmett side with lots of pictures and life sketches for the last few generations. Even some first hand accounts of immigrating from England. Great stuff. If you do find anything else would you let me know? I'm actually doing something similar too!
