Orr Family News

Dear Jemmett Family,
First, I wanted to announce that my husband will be coming home from Iraq sometime between March 10th and March 20th! YEAHHHHAA!! & HALLELUJAHHHHHH!! He will have been gone almost 8 months and has had quite an experience. He has lost troops and seen some ugly things. This being his second tour to a war base in Iraq, he is MORE than ready to return home. I am MORE THAN ecstatic to have my mate home. I'm not sure you would be interested, but everyon is invited to welcome him home at the airport.

Secondly, last night he informed me that he will only be home for 3 months before he will leave again. But, this time, he won’t be going alone. We have orders to move our household to the Air Force Base in MorĂ³n de la Frontera in Spain, where Ray will become a Unit Commander. As of July 1st, we no longer live on the North American continent.

It saddens me the in the 2 years we have lived in Utah I did not get to know my Jemmett Family better, but as always...life gets in the way.

However, I do want to wish you all the very best with your families. May you all enjoy good health and have much happiness in your lives!
Cheers to you all!

¡Adios Amigos!

P.S. If you are looking for large rambler in Layton, mine will be on the market soon!

Susan good luck! I hear that part of Spain is beautiful! Maybe we should hold a family reunion over there! ;)

I'm very mixed about Spain. I'm not so worried because I have lived there and sorta know what to expect. I'm sad to leave my house, my awesome job, my students, my incredible colleagues - who have totally supported me while Ray's been deployed...it's just a lot of emotion involved for me. Ray liked it here, but he wasn't here enough or had the opportunity to make the attachments like I did. Spain and Utah are night and day...there's absolutely no way to compare them. So, I'm just "mixed".
