Everything was magical, every twig, blade of grass, even the air was frozen in time. And the driveways..a good reason NOT to build on a hill. There was no getting in or out of some of the homes around here. Just a sheet of ice. After a couple of days the major roads were bare but not the secondary ones. We are counting our blessings that we didn't get it as bad as further south of us.

After the Ice Storm
Everything was magical, every twig, blade of grass, even the air was frozen in time. And the driveways..a good reason NOT to build on a hill. There was no getting in or out of some of the homes around here. Just a sheet of ice. After a couple of days the major roads were bare but not the secondary ones. We are counting our blessings that we didn't get it as bad as further south of us.

Leah, I'm going to Anaheim on wednesday and its supposed to be 75 degrees! I'm so excited. Its been like 2 degrees here!
